Undergraduate - Internship

All Exceptional Education B.S. students will be required to complete two semesters of Internship; EEX 3942 Internship I and EEX 4941 Internship II. For ESE students, the Internship experience includes student teaching in both elementary and secondary exceptional education settings under the direction of certified exceptional education teachers. Half of the semester will be in an Elementary placement and the other half will be in a Secondary placement. Interns are in the schools all day Monday and Tuesday. At the end of both placements, students will be in the schools for a full week, all day, Monday through Friday. Internships are completed in the fall and spring terms only and should be taken at the end of the ESE program. Applications are due near the beginning of the semester prior to your Internship, not including summer.
